Mail.ru reports $124.9m sales revenues in Q3 2011

Mail.ru, one of the leading Russian internet companies, reported $124.9m (€88.6m) preliminary sales revenues in Q3 2011, resulting in a 59.1% growth on a yearly basis. The drivers of company’s sales growth were display advertising and community internet value added services (IVAS), marking a year-on-year increase by 56.1% and 110.6%, respectively.
In September 2011, the Russian monthly audience of the Mail.ru website reached 27.8 million unique visitors, approximately 300,000 more in comparison to the total amount of the previous quarter and by 2.6 million more than in September 2010. 'My world', a web 2.0 project started by Mail.ru in 2007, had about 19.3 million unique users in September 2011, and now is growing by 1.2 million year on year. The number of users of the Mail.ru social network portal, Odnoklassniki, reached 18.9 million monthly unique users at the end of Q3 2011, compared to 16.1 million in the corresponding period of the prior year. The number of daily unique users of the mentioned social network grew over the reviewed period from 6.2 million to 7.9 million.
