Huawei announces new delivery channel

Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications solutions provider, has announced the start of a new partnership programme aimed at growing the company’s market share in Russia. Until recently the company had been selling its services directly to
telecommunications operators, such as
MTS,
Megafon,
VimpelCom and others. However, in 2009, Huawei began working with the government and corporate sector which requires a different model of partnership.
The new direct
partnership programme comprises a number of integrator companies, such as
TekhnoServ and
Infosistemy Dzhet together with a single distributor company
Landata. Huawei estimates that its partner sales will make up to a share of 20% on all company deliveries.
