Synterra and Yota sign cooperation agreement

The Russian telecommunications operator Synterra and the wireless network provider Yota have signed a cooperation agreement for Synterra to become the chief supplier of cable Internet lines to existing and future Yota networks across Russia. The company already uses Synterra intercity lines for its base stations and corporate VPN-network. In addition, Yota will utilise Synterra data centres for the development of new networks. The company is planning to install its servers in the Synterra centres in Novosibirsk and Samara in the near future.
