2010-06-23
The
Russian telecommunications company
Svyazinvest could reach an agreement during the summer with
Vneshekonombank (VEB) and the insurance agency
ACB about the buyout of a 40% share of
Rostelekom.
It was reported earlier that in 2009 ACB acquired a 29.9% stake of Rostelekom from KIT-Finans bank for RUB 50.28bn ($1.6bn). VEB, on the other hand, has a 10% share in Rostelekom and has taken over share capital management from ACB. The agreement with Svyazinvest will be signed by VEB with the full consent of ACB.
