Telecommunication services drop by 5.4%


2010-07-15

The sales of telecommunications services in Russia fell by 5.4% in May 2010 year-on-year to RUB 111.6bn ($3.6bn), according to Rosstat. In January-May 2010, revenues in the telecommunications services sector increased by 1.9% in comparison to the same period last year. In Q1 the sales grew by 2.7% to RUB 316.9bn ($10.3bn), according to the Ministry of Telecommunications.
