Megafon continues to invest in 3G


2010-07-16

Megafon is to invest RUB 8bn ($260.4m) in the development of 3G networks in Russia. The company’s total investment in 2010 will comprise RUB 60.5bn ($2bn). In June 2010, Megafon had over 7,000 3G stations, and was the market leader in Russia. The company is planning to increase the number of 3G networks in major cities including regional centres.
