Komstar-OTS increases net profit by 87%

The Russian telecommunications company Komstar-OTS saw its net profit rise by 87% to $94.9m in the first half of 2010. In Q2 2010 the company increased its earnings and net profit by 6% and 7% respectively.
At the end of Q2 2010, Komstar had 1.4m Internet subscribers, a 22% year-on-year increase and a 6% increase against Q1 2010. Its international and intercity traffic grew 2.5 times y-o-y.
