E-book reader sales to go up by 76%

The Russian e-book readers market is forecast to grow by 76% in 2010, according to market research company J’son & Partners Consulting. Estimates are for 440,000 e-readers to be sold in Russia, compared with 250,000 in 2009. The two leading players in the market are Pocketbook (40%) and Sony (29%). It is estimated that the market value will grow by 30% to $1.95m in 2010.
